Our Services
At Butterflies Therapy & Coaching CIC, we offer a range of trauma-informed therapy and coaching services designed to support adults and children.
Adult Therapy
These sessions provide one-to-one trauma-informed support, helping you explore and understand the impact of past and present experiences on your emotional wellbeing. This includes working with anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, PTSD, and C-PTSD. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs, allowing you to work at a pace that feels manageable. Through this process, you can develop greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and begin to shift patterns that may no longer support you, helping you reconnect with your resilience and move forward with greater clarity.
Child & Young Person Therapy
We offer tailored therapy for children and young people, supporting them in understanding and expressing their emotions, navigating behavioural challenges, and processing difficult life experiences. Sessions are adapted to be engaging and accessible, based on each individual’s age, needs, and developmental stage. This approach supports emotional awareness, communication, and confidence, while helping young people make sense of their experiences. Over time, this can support stronger relationships and the development of skills that positively influence their growth into adulthood.
Emotional Well-being Sessions
These sessions are designed to support individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, or low self-esteem, using a trauma-informed approach that recognises the deeper influences behind emotional difficulties. Together, we explore thoughts, feelings, and behavioural patterns, helping you gain insight into what may be contributing to how you feel. You will develop practical coping strategies and emotional regulation skills that support greater balance and resilience. The focus is on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and able to respond to everyday challenges in a way that feels more manageable and effective.
Equine Emotional Well-being Sessions
These sessions offer a unique, experiential approach to exploring emotions, behaviour, and relationships through guided interaction with horses. Horses respond naturally to human emotions and behaviours, which can support increased self-awareness and insight without relying solely on verbal communication. These sessions can help develop emotional regulation and a deeper understanding of relational patterns. Grounded in a trauma-informed approach, this way of working can be particularly beneficial for individuals who prefer a more experiential or non-traditional form of support.
Pre-trial Therapy
Pre-trial therapy provides specialist, trauma-informed support for individuals involved in legal proceedings. This service offers a structured and carefully considered space to process experiences while remaining mindful of legal guidelines, ensuring that therapeutic work does not interfere with the legal process or evidence. It supports you in managing the emotional impact of proceedings, reducing feelings of overwhelm, and maintaining clarity during what can be a complex time. The focus is on helping you feel more prepared, supported, and able to navigate each stage with professional understanding.
Clinical Supervision
Clinical supervision offers a reflective and collaborative space for therapists, counsellors, and trainees to explore their work within a trauma-informed framework. This service supports the discussion of client work, ethical considerations, and professional development, while encouraging deeper reflection on practice. It provides an opportunity to explore challenges, strengthen decision-making, and maintain accountability. Through ongoing supervision, practitioners can continue developing their confidence, competence, and professional identity while maintaining high standards in their work.
